In particular, with a number of leading Democratic voices still trying to ditch the abortion platform, I predict that the failure to capture both Houses in 2006 will lead at least some to cite, yet again, that it was because of (Of Course, not 'getting with the program and justifying the lying')... Democrats' failure again to 'get religion' and will try to leverage the election to push to dump the pro-choice plank from the national Democratic Party. Note that the success of Kaine was not acknowledged by any of these voices, to my knowledge, though I mentioned it, as suggesting that abortion might not EVEN IN VIRGINIA be such an albatross for Democrats electorally, but is something that powerful interests with a foothold in the Democratic Party want to ditch.
